As I continue in my quest for a chemical free home, I am always thrilled to find new companies, especially Canadian companies, that offer natural products. Upper Canada Soap is exactly that, a company making natural bath and beauty products that are not tested on animals. I love that Upper Canada Soap has been around for 40 years offering natural products, and they have a huge selection to choose from!
Here is what they say about their bath and body products on their website…
With over 2,000 bath and body products to our name, our focus is a commitment to natural product formulations leaving harsh chemicals and preservatives out of the mix. And as always, we keep our products close to home by developing and manufacturing all of our personal care products locally in Canada.
In Canada, we are proud of our backyards and the nature surrounding us. Upper Canada Soap incorporates that natural beauty into the products they create to come up with gentle and safe beauty products that we can feel safe using and having in our homes. I love their mission statement…
Upper Canada Soap’s Mission
•To incorporate the beauty and pureness of the nature around us into every product we make.
•To be committed to excellence, ingenuity and quality while maintaining the proven traditions and standards of our 40 year heritage.
•To provide products that enhance the well-being, delight the senses and deliver on their promised end-benefit.
They certainly achieved their goals when it comes to the Exfoliating Foot Scrub. It comes in this attractive squeeze container, smells like peppermint and feels amazing when you use it. It has that gritty feeling that exfoliants usually have, and when I use it I feel like it is really working to smooth my rough feet (I know, too much information about my feet). Once the cream is worked in, the grittiness is gone and all that is left is a soft and smooth feeling foot, that smells like peppermint if you want to get close enough to smell it!
The Exfoliating foot scrub comes in a 4.2 fl. oz. bottle and it is made from a combination of Walnut Shell and Apricot Seed that helps scrub away calloused skin while Shea Butter and Peppermint Oil help soothe, cool and replenish skin’s moisture.
I have tried a lot of foot creams and scrubs because I have very dry skin and my heals tend to get extra dry and crack. I feel that the Upper Canada Soap Exfoliating food Scrub is one of the best I have tried. You can try it too, by winning the Mini Pedicure Essentials Set (SRP $19.99), which contains 4 fl.oz. Foot Cream & 4 fl. oz. Exfoliating Foot Scrub in a PVC gift tote with button snaps.
