I have been a parent for over eighteen years, so playtex baby products have been in my home for over eighteen years. They have changed over the years, and it was fun to see all of the new products when I had my younger kids. Playtex continues to grow and develop awesome products for infants and children, and here are some of their great baby products…

Playtex® Drop-Ins Original Nurser

Used by moms for generations, this unique bottle system is clinically shown to mimic breastfeeding which makes it perfect for breastfeeding moms who also want to bottle feed.* It’s easy and convenient liners ensure a fresh, pre-sterilized bottle at every feeding. That helps mom to relax and know her baby is taken care of.

  • Features holders and pre-sterilized, disposable liners that collapse like the breast to prevent air from entering your baby, reducing gas and colic.
  • Includes 5 free disposable Drop-Ins™ liners
  • Includes slow flow NaturaLatch® silicone nipple, perfect for newborns. Its wide base encourages baby to open her mouth wide and latch-on as she would at the breast.
  • Available in 4oz and 8oz sizes
  • Also available with engaging decorations for baby

I was a breastfeeding Mommy who often expressed milk so that my babies could get fed by their Daddy, or still get breast milk when I was unable to be with them. I used the Playtex drop in bottles because I could freeze milk in the liners, and date them with a marker. They were easy to heat in warm water and I never had to guess how warm the contents were.

New! Playtex® The First Lil’ GripperTM Straw Trainer Cup

Moms will love our easy-to-use trainer cup designed to teach little ones to drink from a straw. Simply squeeze the cup to push liquid up. This makes it easier for children to learn how straws work and for moms to track a child’s development.

  • Designed for children transitioning from a bottle
  • Squeezable cup helps moms and dads teach children how to drink through a straw
  • Designed especially for a child’s grip
  • Twist ‘n Click Leak-Proof Guaranteed seal*
  • Available in purple, green, blue and pink

This is very cool! I wish they had these when my kids were still using sippy cups. I love the colours, the rubber grip on the handles, and of course the straw.

Playtex® The First Sipster® Trainer Cup

Designed with the help of a U.S. feeding specialist and aU.S. pediatrician, this cup promotes independent drinking skills. It’s a great first sippy cup for your child, if you can handle the fact he’s growing up so fast!

  • BPA-free and Phthalate-free
  • Twist ‘n Click™ lid Guaranteed Leak-Proof seal*
  • Spill-Proof, Leak-Proof and Break-Proof Guarantee*
  • Durable, soft, tapered spout designed for baby’s sensitive gums
  • Helps baby transition from bottle to cup
  • Soft handles have an easy-grip shape
  • Handles attach to the lid for proper spout/handle alignment, which helps promote independent drinking
  • Helps your child develop good drinking skills as early as possible
  • Patented Spill-Proof Guarenteed* valve eliminates messes and is easy to clean
  • Easy to activate — liquid flows easily when child sips
  • Easy to clean — all parts are top-rack dishwasher safe
  • Available in a variety of colours
  • Available in 7oz
  • Available in 1-pack and 2-pack

We still have several of these cups in my house, although we hide them because Griffin is big enough to drink from a regular cup now. These sippy cups are great because the handles make it easy for baby to hold, they have a rubber stopper that keeps them from dumping the drinks out, or having everything leak out when a cup is tossed to the side. They have a variety of colours too!

Playtex® Ortho-Pro® Pacifier with Sterilizing Cover

Designed by dentists to allow for proper oral development, this pacifier will help soothe both baby and you! And to make life easy, sterilizing takes just minutes.

  • Clinically shown to not interfere with natural teeth alignment and gum development
  • Patented, ultra-thin, wavy stem easily fits between baby’s gums, minimizing pressure on incoming teeth
  • Unique, contoured nipple allows tongue to rest in a natural position without putting pressure on baby’s front teeth
  • Snap ‘n Clean™ sterilizer cover keeps dirt out and kills 99.9% of bacteria in just 2 minutes in the microwave
  • Moveable handle for easy insertion and removal
  • Teething nubs on handle massages sore gums
  • Vented shield allows baby’s skin to breathe to help prevent skin irritation
  • BPA-free and Phthalate-free
  • Available in a variety of colours
  • Available in silicone
  • Available in Newborn and Older Baby sizes

These were Griffin’s pacifiers of choice. A browse through my blog will find posts about these pacifiers, and their last days with us. They were great while he was still little enough for them, and he had a very strong attachment. I like pacifiers and tried to give them to all of my children once they had mastered “the latch”. Only one of my children refused a pacifier, and he’s now 8 years old and I still can’t figure out how to get him to stop sucking on his fingers!

Playtex® Binky®Silicone Pacifier – Decorated

These are very cute pacifiers and they have the most unique nipple I have ever seen. I imagine they would be great for newborns.
