If you are a fan of Corner Gas, like we are, you will possibly think of it when you mention fondue (What happens at fondue stays at fondue). I am approaching 40 and I have never had fondue. I’m thinking it’s about time I had it and I thought it would make a fun snack/project for me to do with the kids, so I went in search of fondue recipes. I had no idea there were so many kinds of fondue! I had planned on doing chocolate but now I’m thinking we might be a little more creative than that.

Oh wow! Now you’ve made me hungry. I absolutely LOVE fondue. Last year we bought two fondue sets and have used them several times – we typically do the cheese fondue and then a chocolate fondue. The last time we made it, we decided we really need to get another set or two because we want a broth type fondue for meats, and we want to make something else. Uhm. I think I just found my go-to list when we do that! Hmmm… think I’m going to be dropping $40 bucks @ Bed Bath and Beyond this weekend! 🙂 Thanks for a great post!

  I think I will start with cheese and chocolate too…then maybe some more chocolate…then maybe some white chocolate, lol. Actually, the only above that I don’t think I want to try is the pizza one. It just doesn’t appeal to me.

OMG some people are soooooo freakin’ creative! These all look fantastic! I always think of fondue as just cheese!! Baby says it wants Spinach, Mushroom & Bacon Fondue 🙂 🙂 🙂 BACCOOONNN!!!!

Yum! We always do a Hot oil and meat fondue with lots of sauces!

My grandfather was swiss aND I grew up with cheese fondues. I used to eat till I would burst, but I haven’t tried aNY other variations, thank you for the ideas
