Every year during the Christmas season, we make at least one visit to Swiss Chalet to have the Festive Dinner. We like Swiss Chalet because it is affordable and they have a variety of foods that the kids like, even though they have such different preferences.
Today we were heading out to buy some Christmas decorations and check out the holiday sales, and decided to stop off at Swiss Chalet for lunch. The kids like the menu. It has pictures and lets them choose their entree, side dish, drink and dessert…and then they can flip it over and do some activities.
I love that my kids will order salad, but it would be great if Griffin would eat more than just the croutons! He may have accidentally eaten some lettuce, but it’s the croutons he was looking for. He and Avery both chose cheese pizza and salad, while Kellen chose mini cheese burgers and fries.
My husband and I both chose the festive dinner. It’s not as pretty in real life as it is on the menu, but it tastes great all the same. I love the stuffing, but the best part is the Lindor chocolates that they give you to take home.
After lunch, I asked for a coffee and sweetener. They brought me a coffee and some choices that included white sugar, raw sugar and sweet’n’low. I asked if they had Equal Sweeteners and was told that they do not.
When I asked for a comment card, the waitress told me that I can fill one out online and the instructions would be on my receipt. She was right!
I filled out on my customer survey, and when I was given the option to make comments, I left a comment asking them to include Equal in their selection of sweeteners.
It was a delicious meal, and the kids both ate and behaved as much as can be expected for three kids who are excited about Christmas, so it was a great lunch!
