Today’s Wordless Wednesday isn’t really wordless, because I have to share the story behind it. Last year, my sister-in-law donated her hair to a non-profit organization. My daughter asked why she would do that, and I explained to her some of the reasons that people might need hair. She decided she was going to donate her hair to a child who needed it. This past weekend we went out for a “girl night” and she got her hair cut and ready to donate to Locks of Love.

We went to Masonville Mall in London and stopped at The Cut Above Hair Salon. Avery’s hair stylist was Katelyn, who did a great job making Avery feel comfortable.

Her new hairstyle...we love it!

And since I thought she did such a nice thing, I took her to get her ears pierced afterwards. They didn’t have cute things like Hello Kitty earrings when I had my ears pierced!
