We have had a lot of rain this week, so I haven’t spent very much time tending to the garden. I don’t see a huge change from week three, but there is a little bit.

I took the cans off of the tomatoes and put them over a couple of plants that are struggling, the watermelon and a pepper plant. My zucchini plants have flowers!

I don’t think the watermelon is going to make it. It is looking pretty burnt, but I’m hoping the can will offer it a little protection and maybe help it survive. We’ll know in time I guess.

I put up some netting for the beans to climb, and you can see the carrots coming up between the marigold and the onions.

My tomatoes are all doing well, but not flowering yet. The peppers are growing very slowly this year, but I guess it is early still.

Thanks for checking in on my garden! Click below to see previous weeks.
