Win a $50 Visa #BackToSchoolSpend {Canada only}

A recent survey about shopping in the back to school season shows that people are deterred from going shopping because of the crowds and lineups. That doesn’t really come as a surprise to me. What is worse than shopping in a crowded store with long lineups with your kids in tow! As a result, 22% believe that shopping online is the number one stress reliever during the back-to-school season. Canadian consumers also go online shopping for cheaper prices, better sales and promotions and because they simply do not have time to shop during regular store hours. The survey also...

Relax at the Carlsbad Inn Beach Resort

Give your children the best start in life

When I had my first child, I breastfed him because everyone said that it was better for him and I wanted to make sure I was giving him the best start possible. I learned something from that experience … breastfeeding is hard. I stuck it out for seven months and then switched him over to formula because that was what worked for both of us at that time. When I had my second child, nearly eleven years later, I knew that I was going to breastfeed again but I also wanted to research the best formulas so that I...
