I love to grill, and I love to eat grilled food even more! Unfortunately, living in Canada can make it a little difficult to grill in the winter, at least if you don’t want to climb through snow and freeze while doing it. So I was pretty excited to try out the T-Fal Emeril XL Grill.

This powerful 1700 watt grill helps deliver the best tasting grilled foods thanks to its removable non-stick, die-cast aluminum grill plates and two independent temperature controls.
Features
- Extra large cooking surface, two independent cooking surfaces and temperature surfaces.
- 230 square inches of grilling space
- Temperature settings of 176°F to 464°F.
- Nonstick, die cast aluminum plates ensure optimal heat diffusion.
- Sloped surface for better draining.
- Removable and dishwasher safe plates.
- Splatter guard.
- 1700 watts.
The grill is a great size for a big family like mine. We had some pork tenderloin that I wanted to make, so I decided to test out the grill with that.
As you can see, I may have overdone it with the barbecue sauce and made quite a mess of the grill, but the tenderloin was delicious and the grill cleaned up so easily thanks to T-Fal’s famous no-stick coating. I washed them in the sink that time, but since then I have tried putting them in the dishwasher and they came out clean and just like new. I also love the splash guard that contained the mess to the grill.
Since then, I have tried grilling zucchini and chicken and both turned out beautifully. I know this appliance will be well used throughout the winter, and maybe even in the summer when I would rather not go outside.
T-Fal and Emeril have teamed up on several great appliances, including a pie and cake maker, a deep fryer and a slow cooker. You can see them all at www.emerilstore.com.

That’s awesome!
This grill looks great! I love T-Fal products, so I’ll check this out for sure! Thanks
This looks great! I need to get a new grill!
Oooh I miss grilling!
I love this grill. We don’t have an outdoor grill so something like this would be great for us.
I’m interested in this type of grill since we started using one at work; thanks for the review
How often do you find yourself using the grill? Would you find it to be a necessity or a novelty purchase?
I should whip out my indoor grill. Yesterday was pretty nice and I thawed out something to put on my outdoor grill, but today it is dang cold and snowing.
