CAA’s Annual Medical Insurance Plans Keep You Covered

toes in oceanTraveling is fun, but it requires a lot of planning. Booking flights, making hotel reservations, planning your itinerary, and packing the bags are always on the ‘to do’ list. Ensuring that you have the right insurance for your trip is just as important as each of those tasks. As a Canadian, I don’t always think about the cost of health care and what would happen if someone in my family had an accident or became ill while we were away. I’m embarrassed to say I have even traveled to the States without getting the proper travel medical insurance plan.

Since I don’t want to find myself in a medical and financial emergency while traveling, I am really happy to learn that CAA offers medical insurance annual plans that provide easy and immediate access to coverage. Annual plans let you buy a package of fifteen or thirty days to use whenever you please. That way, rather than buying coverage just for the days you know you are traveling, you can buy a package of days that you can use year-round on sporadic trips. Now a quick shopping trip across the border or a last minute business trip is already taken care of in terms of medical coverage. You can just pack a bag, close your Garaga Garage Door, and be on your way!

Annual Emergency Medical Plans – 15 and 30 day Plans

What’s included?

  • Emergency Medical Expenses up to $5 million CAD
  • Emergency Dental Expenses
  • Medical Repatriation
  • Family Transportation
  • Death Expenses
  • Escort of Children
  • Terrorism Coverage
  • Return of a Vehicle
  • Subsistence Allowance
  • Non-Medical Emergency Evacuation
  • Hospital Allowance
  • Medical Follow-up in Canada
  • Pet:  Return / Care / Kennel Costs
  • Vision Care
  • Hearing Aid

Many families will be heading across the border over the next few weeks to enjoy a bit of sunshine during their spring break. You will want to make sure you are protected, and if you have any other travel plans through the year, the annual plan is perfect for you!

Happy travels!
