Get the 60th Anniversary Release of Peter Pan!

I grew up watching Disney movies and reading Disney story books, so all of the classics just feel like they are a part of me and by extension, a part of my family. It’s funny how I just naturally assume that my kids know all of these classic stories as well as I do, or at least I did until our Peter Pan Blu-ray arrived in the mail. I opened the package and the kids were immediately at my side asking what I had. When I showed them that it was Peter Pan, they all wanted to put it on right away. And then it donned on me…none of my kids have seen Peter Pan! They have watched ‘Jake and the Neverland Pirates’ and ‘Hook’ and a slew of other shows and movies that reference Peter Pan, but never the original movie. We had to change that!

We put the movie on and settled in to enjoy it. I love the clarity of the Blu-ray. You would never think that this is a movie that has been around for 60 years! The story was as great as I remembered it and I really enjoyed teach Avery that the story of Peter Pan is where her beloved Tinker Bell originated from!

Watching the restored Peter Pan movie was a great way to spend an afternoon together. I can’t wait for the next Disney re-release so that we can do it again!
