Kellogg’s has always been a regular brand name in my home. Mini Wheats, Vector and Froot Loops are my kids’ favourites cereals, and the new Special K Morning Shakes were a huge hit in our house. I recently received a box of new Kellogg’s products to try. I received the following:

  • Kellogg’s Mini Wheats centres
  • Kellogg’s All Bran
  • Two boxes of Kellogg’s Special K Cracker Chips
  • Two boxes of Special K Granola Bars
  • Two boxes of Nutrigrain Soft Bakes

I can’t say that I’m a huge fan of All Bran by itself, but these new flavours with the fruit are a definite improvement. I do think it’s a very healthy cereal and a great source of fibre. The Mini Wheats Centres were a huge hit with Avery. She loves Mini Wheats, and these were just another flavour to add to her favourites list.

I have tried the Cracker Chips before and I really like them. They are a healthier alternative to potato chips, and they are full of flavour. The granola bars are delicious too. My only complaint is that they contain nuts so they can’t be used in school lunches. The same problem applies to the Soft Bakes. We will continue to buy the Soft Bakes though, because they were loved by everyone in the house and gone much too quickly. The Banana Bread one was my favourite.
