I appreciate the health benefits of fish and try to get my kids to eat it as much as possible. In fact, it’s recommended to eat seafood twice a week! Unfortunately for me, my children seem to only like fish that comes in the form of a fish stick. Thankfully BlueWater makes fish sticks that I can feel good about giving my children, and now they offer gluten free fish too!

BlueWater gluten free Grill Fish items have healthy omega-3 fatty acids and are a source of lean protein. A diet that includes seafood twice a week has health benefits that include:

  • Maintaining healthy blood pressure, triglycerides and cholesterol levels
  • Maintaining healthy blood glucose levels
  • Improving arthritis and joint pain
  • Enhancing brain growth and development
  • Promoting heart health

I found a great recipe for homemade fish sticks on the BlueWater recipe page. It’s gluten free, and a healthy choice too. There are several excellent recipes on the BlueWater website, for both gluten free and regular diets.

18109CFThe new grill fillets are excellent on their own too. My kids may not appreciate them yet, but I really enjoy them especially for a quick lunch or late dinner. I tried the Haddock Classic Grill and it was excellent! I can’t wait to try even more of them. BlueWater’s gluten free options include Grill Haddock, Grill Salmon, Grill Tilapia, and Grill Fillets made from flaky, white Alaska Pollock, in a wide range of flavours.

The taste of these savoury grill fillets has remained the same as it always has been, but now procedures have been implemented at the production location to avoid cross-contamination, and there is ongoing monitoring and testing to ensure that our Grill Fillets are gluten free. With the same delicious flavour millions of consumers have come to know and love, the absence of wheat, barley, rye and oats does not subtract from the flavourful taste of these lightly seasoned, flame-grilled fillets.

Did you know that due to the health benefits of seafood, many health organizations recommend eating seafood twice a week? BlueWater is providing one lucky reader with a prize package of free seafood for an entire month in the form of 8 full value product coupons! Enter to win
