My family loves to travel, and I rely heavily on referrals and reviews when booking a trip. I have recently discovered Thomas Cook Kids First, and it is exactly the type of information I am looking for!

For parents, planning a family vacation can be a daunting task especially if you haven’t done your homework on kid-friendly travel options. And what parents think their kids will enjoy can often leave young ones wondering if they’re actually related to mom and dad.
Introducing Thomas Cook Kids First (TCKF) – a program designed to create memorable family vacations – from the company that invented packaged holidays.
Thomas Cook Kids First offers real opinions from children who have been on their trips. I love this because we all know children don’t filter themselves they way we do as adults, and they will definitely tell you what they think. I really like hearing from another child’s perspective because kids know what other kids will like. Take a look at this video…

To make your travel plans even easier, Thomas Cook has an easy to use chart on their website that shows you exactly what is offered at each destination they travel to. You can see an example below.

One of my lucky readers will win a Thomas Cook Kids First Welcome Package of their own, valued at up to $500! This contest is being featured on Kidsumers and Big Family Travels, but there will only be one winner. Entries from both sites are reflected in the form below.

Contest closes February 22nd, 2013.

WHO WOULDN’T WANT TO TRAVEL WITH KIDS PREPARED FOR EVENTUAL BOREDOM
Beaches Turks & Caicos would be my choice for a family vacation. With the waterpark and all the other activities kids would be well entertained and the whole family could enjoy the vacation.
I’d be off to St. Lucia in a heartbeat — my parents cruise the Caribbean every February and bring back these beautiful pictures of the island. I think that is just a kind of beauty that my kids should get to see. The idea of relaxing on the beach doesn’t hurt either.
