If you are considering a fun get together for you and your spouse or maybe for a group of friends, you may want to consider Montreal. If you book a stay in a downtown Montreal hotel, you will be right in the heart of the city. If you head to Sherbrooke Street you will find high-end boutiques to find that perfect item. In the same area you can find the Montréal Museum of Fine Arts, the McCord Museum and the Musée d’art contemporain.
If you would rather dance and have fun with friends, you will find several Montreal nightclubs in the downtown core. It could be a fun way to enjoy your evenings in the city! I left my nightclub days behind me about a decade (or two) ago, but it would be fun just to take a look and see what they are like if I was in the area without children.
Dining out is more my speed for a night out without children. Montreal has the highest concentration of eateries on the continent, so finding a Montreal restaurant should be a pretty easy task! Whether you are looking for fast food, fine dining or anything in between, you should be able to find it in downtown Montreal. There are also several culinary festivals in the area, so it’s the perfect place to visit for foodies!
If nightclubs and dining don’t interest you, maybe a visit to Chinatown would! Or you could head over to the Society for Arts and Technology to see what is happening in the electronic arts scene. There is public transit available to take you wherever you choose to go. Downtown Montreal is a hip and happening place that you will want to add to your travel bucket list.
