Win an Octaspring pillow ARV $159 {Canada}

I slept on a waterbed from my preteen years right up until I was in my early twenties. Then I purchased a firm mattress at a bargain price.

Worst. Decision. Ever. I had a sore back for the next eight years.

I really believe that a good quality mattress is one of the best purchases you can make, so when my husband and I bought ourselves a new bed, we chose much more carefully and got something that provided us with comfort and support. I was amazed at how much healthier and energetic I felt once I had a decent mattress to sleep on. That mattress is over ten years old now and it may be time to start looking for something new. The Octaspring mattresses are a definite contender when we do get ready to buy a new mattress.

Most mattresses consist of one of two technologies: metal springs or memory foam. Dormeo Octaspring from the UK has launched a revolutionary new line of bedding, now available in Canada. Its technology innovatively combines all the benefits of the two traditional types of mattresses, but eliminates the drawbacks of both through its unique eight-sided springs made out of memory foam. The springs cradle and conform to the sleeper’s body (memory foam) while providing incredible ventilation and breathability (springs) – it’s the best of both worlds!
Octaspring also extends the principle behind their mattresses’ technology into their pillows, realizing that your head and neck need as much comfort as the rest of your body.

The Octaspring mattresses come with a twenty year warranty and are available at Sleep Country.

I received an Octaspring pillow to try. I generally am drawn to the fluffier pillows and once I get them home and use them for a few days, they start to feel flat and not very comfortable. The Octaspring pillow is both firm and soft at the same time. It has no “fluff” but it conforms to you in a way that provides a great deal of comfort and support. I was really impressed with it. It also allowed for fewer pillows on the bed because I didn’t need or want a second pillow under it.

One of my lucky readers can win an Octaspring Memory Evolution pillow, valued at $159.

    I like the Octaspring memory foam! I do wonder how much time I waste over the course of the night trying to get my pillow back to my comfort position!
