I love Thanksgiving and Christmas because we have a huge turkey dinner. I love the smell of the turkey roasting all day, and I love all of our traditional family recipes. If it wasn’t so much work, I would make a full turkey dinner every week! Unfortunately, it is a lot of work and like most busy Moms, I don’t have time to indulge in a traditional turkey dinner every week. Thankfully, Butterball knows just what busy families like mine need, and they have the Seasoned Boneless Turkey Breast.
This is not only a moist and delicious turkey breast, but it’s incredibly easy to make. You cook it from frozen, so it’s just a matter of putting it in the oven! It doesn’t get much easier than that. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it turned out. You would never know it was cooked from frozen! Using the frozen turkey breast, I can quickly and easily create a smaller version of my favourite holiday meal.
I can’t have turkey without stuffing, and Butterball has taken care of that as well. Butterball has a Homestyle Stuffing that is premade and frozen. It is also cooked from frozen, making it another surprisingly easy part of this meal!
One bag of Butterball Homestyle Stuffing serves 12, or if you love stuffing as much as my family, it may serve a few less. I finished our turkey supper off with some green beans and candied yams, but it would be even easier if you made some Betty Crocker mashed potatoes as a side. Mashed potatoes are perfect next to turkey and stuffing!
From September 5th to October 30th, selected packages of Betty Crocker Potatoes (Mashed Butter & Herb, Mashed Roasted Garlic, Scalloped Au gratin and Scalloped Creamy Scalloped) will feature a $3.00 off coupon for Butterball Turkey on your next purchase of the mashed potatoes.
This smaller version of our traditional turkey dinner was a huge hit with the family. I can’t believe how easy it was to prepare, and it’s officially been added to my future meal plans.
