Since we were traveling with three children and two adults, we had two adjoining rooms that each had two double beds. The rooms were very spacious and the beds were comfortable. I loved the little touches, like a red rose in the washrooms and they left the kids some special candy in cocktail glasses, which they loved. Free wifi was included with the room, we purchased a couple of movies that we had been wanting to see but were not available on dvd yet.
Located in downtown Toronto, the Eaton Chelsea was the perfect family getaway. We were within walking distance to shopping and entertainment, and we had all of the family fun we could handle right in the hotel. There was a pool that had a big waterslide and spa, a games room and a variety of activities organized for the kids. There was even a level of the hotel set up with bouncy castles! In the hotel lobby they played movies for the kids and handed out popcorn and lemonade, and I hear a guest robot made appearances as well.
The dining options at Eaton Chelsea were excellent. There was everything from peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to steak dinners. They even had steak on the children’s menu in the Bb33 restaurant, which made my daughter’s evening! There are buffet options and sit down dining option, and we even opted for room service one evening while we were watching our movies. The Concierge at Eaton Chelsea can help you get discounted tickets to several attractions in the area. We decided to go to Medieval Times and he helped us get a great price. We had a fantastic time!
