Most mornings I jump out of bed, wake the kids and dive right into the tasks for the day. Lunches are made, backpacks are packed, hair and teeth get brushed (and mine too if I find the time) and the kids and I walk to school, time allowing. I don’t even think about having breakfast or coffee until I get back home, and then my mind has usually moved on to all of the other things I need to get done that day. One way I’ve found to have a healthy breakfast without wasting precious time is to make an apple mango smoothie with Orange Naturals ND Shake Mix.

Apple Mango Smoothie
- 3/4 cup frozen mango
- 1 small apple, cored and cut
- 1/4 cup frozen pomegranate seeds
- 1 cup water
- 1 scoop ND Shake Mix
- Blend all of the above ingredients until smooth.
There are many variations of this smoothie that you can try. Frozen strawberries are always delicious, and blueberries, raspberries and banana also make great fruit smoothies. I enjoy many vegetables in my smoothies as well. Cucumber adds a fresh flavour to any smoothie and kale and spinach give a rich green colour that tastes great.
