Disney memories, I have a few. Okay … more than a few.
My first visit to Walt Disney World wasn’t until I was 16 years old. I loved every minute of it, and I couldn’t wait to get back again. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen right away. I returned to Disney for the second time (and the first time for the rest of my family) in 2011. We made many amazing memories on that trip but one of my favourites was watching my children see Cinderella’s Castle for the first time. The wonder in my daughter’s eyes was all of the thanks I could ever ask for.
We have returned to Disney parks several times since then, and every time we make new memories. I have had the chance to bring my Mom along for the trip a couple of times, and my teenage niece came along for her first visit in 2013. We have participated in runDisney events and stayed at various resorts. My son has learned to love rides at Disney World, and my daughter has developed a sophisticated palette from taste testing her way through Epcot.
Most recently we had our first visit to Disney World with our entire family. My oldest son is an adult now and his school and work interfered with him coming with us in the past. Having him and his girlfriend with us on that last trip meant a lot to all of us.
