Earlier this year my family ventured to one of my favourite places on earth, Jamaica. We arrived at the Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton Resort & Spa fully prepared to enjoy some sunshine and swimming. We were not disappointed.
The resort consists of two separate areas, the Grand Palladium Jamaica and the Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton. With it’s newly renovated rooms and restaurants, the Grand Palladium is both luxurious and family friendly. We were staying in a Junior Suite which offered two double beds, a pull out couch and an additional sitting area. The balcony offered a beautiful ocean view, and the spacious washroom had a large tiled shower, a jet tub and plenty of room.
The highlight for the kids was the pool and the waterpark. We could have stayed there for the entire week and they wouldn’t have been disappointed. There were several pools available, including adult only pools, but we spent most of our time seated between the main pool and the waterpark. It was ideal for families like ours that have teens, tweens and children who may not want to be in the same area at the same time.
All ten restaurants at the Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton offer a children’s menu with kid friendly food options. Allergies and food sensitivities can also be catered to. The buffets offer something for everyone and the remaining restaurants offer cuisine from Mexico, India, Italian, Japanese and more. We were not disappointed at any of our restaurant visits.
