I try to provide nutritious meals for my family on a regular basis. I choose locally grown fresh produce, protein and a diet packed full of nutrients. Then there are the days that I get so busy that suppertime rolls around and I realize I haven’t even planned anything. Other days I just don’t feel like cooking. It’s okay to give yourself a break sometimes! When those days happen, we end up picking up some takeout for dinner.

We are not a completely gluten free family, but we do attempt to limit the intake due to my son’s autoimmune disease. There are some practical reasons for choosing SUBWAY® Restaurants. It’s close to home. They offer a menu varied enough to please all of my picky eaters and the grown-ups in our house. Everyone in my family has their favourite subs. My husband likes the steak and cheese sub with just about every vegetable, but he’s often open to trying new varieties. I will try new subs on occasion, but I usually choose the assorted with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, green olives and sub sauce. My daughter loves the meatball sub with peppers, and my youngest son only wants ham, cheese and cucumbers. My teenage son avoids gluten but also vegetables. He eats the most boring sub with just ham and cheese. That’s the great thing about SUBWAY® Restaurants, we can stop at one restaurant and get unique meals for everyone in the family. These are not the most important reasons for choosing SUBWAY® Restaurants though, my family is. Even if I am not doing the food preparation, I still want them to eat fresh produce.
