THE CANADIAN TOY ASSOCIATION’S SIXTH ANNUAL
HOT TOYS OF SUMMER
More than 170 toys, activities and games (from 55+ toy companies) for Outdoor Play, Rainy Days and Travel were on display at Ontario Place on May 18th, and I had the extreme privilege of looking at and playing with them! Despite the rain and wind, the kids and adults who attended the event were all having a great time trying out the toys.
There was a huge range of toy companies represented at the show, including MGA Entertainment who invited me. You can see all of the toys they featured by clicking HERE.
There were Outdoor Toys for kids of all ages. Take a look at some of my favourites (click the image to visit the website for that product)…
I just love outdoor toys and things that get gives moving and active. My son is so eager to get a PlasmaCar that I may have to buy one soon. He plays one them whenever we visit the London Children’s Museum, and even my husband wants one, lol. For the days that the kids can’t get outside to play, there are also many Rainy Day Toys …
I know a little girl in my house who would flip for a Justin Bieber doll! We have watched Never Say Never about 300000 times in the past week (that may be a slight exaggeration, but not a huge one). I am fascinated by PaperJamz. I have no clue how they work, but they sure look like fun. The cute dogs above are really unique because they have a zipper opening that allows you to remove the pillow inside and embroider the belly or wash the casing. What a great idea!
Travel Toys were also showcased at Ontario Place. I just finished a 6+ hour trip with my kids, so I know the value of some decent travel toys! Take a look at these…
With so many fabulous toys to choose from, there shouldn’t be any bored kids this summer! To see all of the toys featured at this toy fair, visit http://www.cdntoyassn.com
