Meet the Lite Sprites™
Coming to Stores Nationwide in August 2011
07.27.2011– WowWee, an award-winning manufacturer of toys, is set to release Lite Sprites™, a new toy brand for girls that is equal parts magical, interactive, and empowering. For the first time ever, girls have the power and ability to magically collect and share color and light in the unique play world of Lite-Topia.
The Lite Sprites™ live in Lite-Topia, an enchanted land that sparkles with color and light. The Sprites collect, share and use color and light to express their emotions. The Sprite Sisterhood includes five Sprites, each with a special power: Prisma, the leader; Astra, the keeper of the skies; Brooke, who takes care of the water; Meadow, who is responsible for the plants, flowers and trees; and Bleak, the rebel Sprite who uses her powers to disrupt color in Lite-Topia.
Catch the Lite Sprites™ animated web series at YouTube.com/LiteSprites to follow along each week as lead Sprite Prisma and her friends discover their Lite Wands. For more info about the story behind the Sprites, check out LiteSprites.com.
We received a huge package full of Lite Sprite toys that included the following:
* 1 Lite Wand and Prisma Sprite (one for each child)
* 1 Tree of Lite
* A couple of individual Sprites, including Bleak
* Lite Pet set
* DVD of the first episode of the Lite Sprites
Avery was over the moon for these toys. She loves pretty things, and these definitely fall into that category. When she saw that you could change the colours with the wand, she was really excited. Even her brothers were impressed by that, and they took turns changing the colours. It came with a flower with different coloured petals to use for having the wand pick up colours, but you can grab colours from anywhere, so Kellen especially was having fun doing that.
The Tree of Life is beautiful, and it was easy to put together too. Avery set up the animals and flowers under the tree, and had fun hanging the Lite Sprites’ “swings” under the petals. Here is a short video of Avery demonstrating how it works.
These are the perfect toy for any girly-girl like my daughter, and they would make great Christmas gifts!
