I love the Toronto Zoo. I went several times as a child, and when I became a Mom, it became an annual ritual for my son and I to spend a beautiful summer day at the Zoo. As he got older and our family expanded, the Zoo became even more of an event...because we had little people who were seeing it with fresh eyes. My oldest son is 19 and fairly conservative with his affection. He is in college and not living here, but he's home for the holidays right now. I miss him when he's gone and it's great to have him home, even if most of his time is spent with his friends. Today I took his brother and sister to the movies and had a really nice time. I love movies. I love them in the theatre the most, because of the big screen and the time devoted completely to watching the movie...but I will still watch them again when they are released on DVD, and probably again once they hit television. My husband doesn't know how I can watch the same movie over and over again, but I always find something new to enjoy. Disney movies hold especially fond memories for me.
