I am the Mom to three amazing boys and one lucky little girl. I say she’s lucky, because most of the things that she enjoys playing with are just hers…she doesn’t have to worry about anyone wanting to take her things (for the most part). Griffin, however, is not so lucky. He is the youngest of four children and since his two older brothers have a lot of cool toys already, we don’t often buy new things (that makes me sound mean…but really, we already have so many things that he likes).
One of the things that Griffin loves, besides anything with wheels, is superheroes. Kellen has lots of cool action figures and Griffin loves when Kellen is at school and he can play with them in peace. So he was very excited when Fisher Price sent him his very own Bat Cave and Joker toys to play with.
He set them up in the living room and really enjoyed playing with them. He isn’t all that familiar with the actual Batman stories, so I needed to tell him who Robin and Joker are, and he didn’t believe me when I told him that Joker is the bad guy, lol. That’s okay…he can make the Joker just be a funny guy. He really thought that Robin was a bad guy though, which made me laugh.
He really likes that there are moving pieces on both sets, and the car is one of his favourite pieces. He does wish that it came with Superman and the helicopter, but it gives him something to hope for in the future. It has been so nice watching him enjoy his own superhero toys, and he was very gracious and let his sister and brother play with him when they came home from school. I love that it is teaching him to share his own toys!
Look how much fun he is having…
