My friend Pam and I headed off to Toronto last week to check out the Hot Toys of Summer, courtesy of MGA Entertainment. It was held at the Toronto Zoo, so my kids were blessed with two Zoo visits in less than a week’s time, and it was a beautiful day to be at the zoo.
MGA Entertainment has some awesome summer toys on the market right now. To appeal to little girls, they have created a remote control Lalaloopsy car that carries one or two small Lalaloopsy dolls. Avery tried it out and thought it was pretty neat. I like that the control was easy to manage so that younger children would also be able to use it.
The Little Tikes Tikestix were also on display. I thought these were great because they reminded me of the Little Tikes Waffle Blocks that Eric loved so much when he was little. They encourage imagination and creativity as they build!
My favourite Little Tikes item was the Little Tikes Deluxe 3 in 1 Trike. This trike is so versatile. It can be used for children as young as 9 months old because it has a 5 point harness system, and it has an easy to maneuver handle for parents to push. It also comes equipped with a storage bag for Mom or Dad’s stuff, and a sunshade to protect your child from the harsh rays. The seat adjusts to four positions to fit children of all sizes, and it is a great way to teach your child to pedal.
You can see these and other great toys in this news clip where if you watch closely you will see all of my kiddos…

And then we headed off to spend the rest of the day enjoying the zoo. The kids took a minute to pose in front of this animal poster. They are all characters!
