When entertaining groups of children, my biggest challenge is how to keep them all busy and entertained for the duration of the party or play date. Kids often have short attention spans, and when there are several kids of different ages and genders, it’s hard to find activities that they all like! LEGO DUPLO solved that problem! They sent us everything we needed to throw a party that the kids would enjoy, including…
- Six sets of LEGO DUPLO activity pages
- Six packs of Crayola crayons
- A barnyard game! Think ‘pin the tail on the donkey’ but… everyone wins : )
- A DUPLO Jams CD Â
- Six pages of animal stickers
And most importantly, they sent us some LEGO DUPLO!

Our LEGO DUPLO Party Products included one of each of the three new Toddler Line products (not all shown above because they were busy
building with the boxes):
- Toddler Build and Play Cubes
- Toddler Build and Pull Along
- Toddler Starter Building Set
- LEGO DUPLO Brick Box
- 2 LEGO DUPLO Bricks and Books
My son didn’t want want his “animal picture” to have stickers put on it, so instead the kids took turns making the animals in the picture out of LEGO DUPLO. They did a pretty good job at it, and they used the story books to help.
The activity sheets were a hit, as were the cheese and crackers that looked like LEGO. I had fudge that I planned to make look like LEGO as well, but it had other ideas. It still tasted great though!
There are a lot of great ways to incorporate LEGO into a party. A LEGO cake would be fund to make, and a rectangle shaped pepperoni pizza would be perfect! The real hit for us was the LEGO DUPLO. We have quite a LEGO collection, so we pulled a lot of it out and the kids just had fun building and creating. That’s what I love about LEGO…it works for kids of all ages and has no gender stereotypes. It is personal for each person because they make it into whatever they want.

This is a great way to entertain a group of kids, and the LEGO kits make great gifts for the kids to take home with them too.
Disclosure: I am a LEGO DUPLO Play Agent and I receive special perks as part of my affiliation with this group. The opinions on this blog are my own.
