I love to travel, but I don’t love dealing with luggage. I have bought a lot of different suitcases over the last few years, and I’ve learned one thing… cheaper is not better. My first set was a major deal that I thought I just couldn’t pass up. The zipper broke on the large suitcase the first time I used it, and I had items inside get damage because they luggage provided no protection. There were also no straps or sections for securing my items.
I realized I needed to invest in something a little sturdier, so I purchased a better quality set of luggage. This set has soft sides and 4 wheels and is definitely a step in the right direction. I still struggled with organizing my packed items, but the straps to hold the stuff in were a step up. The real problem is how the airline treats my bags. It didn’t take long for them to be marked up and looking kind of beat up from being tossed around so much.

The set has three bags: a carry on bag, a midsize suitcase and a large suitcase. They have 4 spinner wheels on each bag, and the outer shell is made from ABS. The corners have extra protection and the handles are easy lift and flexible.
Inside each bag there is a zippered section that is perfect for packing up items that you want to keep extra safe. I packed our formal wear in the zippered side of the large bag for our last trip. I think it work well to pack smaller items like the hair dryer, shoes and toiletries as well. There is a zippered pocket between each side of each bag, where you can keep other small items. The elastic straps will hold the items that you pack in the other half.
These bags will stand up to being thrown onto carts and planes, and it is so easy to pull around with you. This is always a challenge for us when traveling with children, so I’m happy to have bags that won’t tip over if left on their own for a moment, and that are also easy to move.
