I have three boys and they all have very unique personalities and interests. Eric is a grown man now, and he has always been a creative person. He was an only child for 11 years so he always knew how to play well on his own, but also with others. Kellen loves his electronics and can figure out new computer games in minutes. He loves to research and learn about natural occurrences, our planet and history. Griffin is full of energy. He loves to run and yell and make his presence known. One thing that they all have in common is a love for building. I appreciate building toys like KRE-O because it encourages creativity, allows for some time away from a screen and encourages some more relaxed play time.
My boys also have a love for Transformers in common, so this new Transformers: Age of Extinction line of KRE-O toys is a huge hit with them (or at least with the ones who still live at home, although I suspect their big brother would like it too).
Griffin was so excited that he could hardly wait to get started building. He chose the Galvatron set to start with and recruited his Daddy to help him build. I think he likes the play time with Dad as much as the toy! After helping his Dad sort the pieces for building, Griffin put together the KRE-O guys on his own and opted to play with them instead of helping to build the rest of the set. He loves KRE-O men and chooses his sets based on what characters are inside.
Griffin has played with this KRE-O set every day since it was put together. He has combined the characters with his other KRE-O and Lego men and put together some pretty impressive battles (he’s all about the battles). I really like that KRE-O is compatible with Lego and other similar building sets. It allows us to choose our building toys based on the contents rather than having to stick to one brand. For now we will be on the lookout for all of the Transformers KRE-O sets!
One of my lucky readers will win a KRE-O Transformers: Age of Extinction Set. Enter below!
