Mattel has a fantastic variety of toys that will make the kids happy this year. Here are a few of my recommendations.
There is something goulishly interesting about Monster High dolls, and they have been a coveted toy since they were released. My daughter is a huge fan and I’m often surprised by her choices. She likes the strangest looking of all of the Monster High dolls, which must be a trend because they are also the hardest to find. The newest of the Monster High clan are a new class of hybrids called the Freak Fusions dolls.
The MONSTER HIGH Freaky Fusion Hybrid Avea Trotter Doll is one that I’m sure my daughter will love. I enjoyed some time discovering all of her unique features and discovered a delightfully strange pair of wings behind her fashionable satin jacket. She is high fashion with her bracelets and gloves and she can stand on her own.
The Monster High Freaky Fusion Siren von Boo Doll is both scary and beautiful. Her long blue hair is wavy like the water she lives in and she is also well adorned in jewelry.
Her mermaid tail has a chain overlay that resembles lace and the black finn perfects the scary look. I think she may be my favourite of all of the Monster High dolls I have seen!
The Freaky Fusion hybrid dolls also include Bonita Femur, a monster mix of Skeleton and
Moth who comes with a remarkable set of wings!
Monster High Dolls aren’t the only hit in our house. Hot Wheels are extremely popular with my boys, and the hot wheels tracks are so much fun. I think my husband may enjoy them even more than the kids!
The Hot Wheels Super Loop Chase Race is the perfect addition to our Hot Wheels track sets. I like that it attaches to the wall so that it isn’t across the floor where I will trip over it, and my husband and kids love the fast action loop!
The Super Loop Chase Race also connects to the Super Launch Speed Track – delivering classic side by side racing and a double booster that gives cars an extra kick to the finish line where a flag clearly signals the winner, and to the Super Start Jump Race – offering classic side-by-side competition with two daring downhill jumps to tackle and a clear flag finish signaling the winner.
The Hot Wheels Color Shifters Flame Fighter Set is perfect for my youngest son who has a love of anything to do with police or firemen. The fact that the cars change colour is just a bonus to him, but my daughter loves that feature.
Splash or dunk your Color Shifters vehicle in water and watch your ride transform before your eyes! It’s like having two cars in one! Warm or icy water changes your car’s color. Some Color Shifters vehicles and sets also feature multi-color transformation! A wide variety of available decos and shades offer something cool for every car fan. Check out the other exciting, themed, color-change play sets like the Sharkport Showdown, the Swamp Raider and the dunk tank fun of Splash & Dash.
These toys will make great Christmas gifts for any child, as will the Mattel toys below that one of my lucky readers will win!
