When I imagine my retirement, it is full of fabulous vacations, a nice home for my children and grandchildren to visit and no financial woes. I want to be able to help my kids out when they need it and spend my time enjoying the company of friends and family.
The years go by so much faster than we expect, and before you know it, you are closer to retirement than graduation. Preparing for retirement is something that concerns us all even if those days seem to be far away in the future. Too many of us rely on the Canada Pension Plan to fund our Golden Years, but this “pension plan” is not the type of pension plan you want to rely on. Caroline Cakebread explains it all here:
