Kashi is a favourite brand of mine. They make natural foods that are full of goodness, so I know I am feeding my family well when I buy them. When going on a long road trip, I always pack up the lunch bags with Kashi bars, and now I have some new treats to add to my list of Kashi favourites: Pita Crisps, Snack Crackers and Toasted Cinnamon Crisp cereal – perfect for starting the day off right and snacking healthy all day (and year) long!
Kashi’s new Toasted Cinnamon Crisp cereal is delicious and nutritious. It is high in protein and fibre, and made with whole grains. It’s the perfect way to start the morning, and it tastes great too. I love that the kids can eat this cereal and not even realize that it is considered “healthy” (that’s a bad word to a 9 year old).
TLC Pita Crisps are made from a unique blend of 7 whole grains, baked to toasty perfection into crunchy, puffy crackers. Both savory varieties are crunchy snacks you can feel good about craving. Naturally Pita Crisps are free of artificial flavors, hydrogenated oils and cholesterol. Each serving provides 10 grams of whole grains, 5 grams of fiber* and 3 grams of protein.
TLC Pita Crisps Original 7 Grain with Sea Salt are a crispy combination of 7 whole grains and cracked wheat berries with a sprinkling of natural sea salt. These crispy crackers offer a savory flavor that tastes paired with a dip or enjoyed simply on their own.
TLC Zesty Salsa Pita Crisps bring a new taste to the cracker aisle with a savory blend of herbs, spices and veggies, including onions, tomato, peppers and cilantro. This crispy cracker is no ordinary snack – each is a tangy bite with a bit of kick. Perfect for a party or a party of one.
We tried both of these new pita crackers. I love the sea salt pita crackers, especially with hummus. They were also good with cheese or just on their own. I like the salsa flavoured ones, but found they got a little spicy after I ate too many of them, so I had to only have a few at a time. My husband loved them and the spices didn’t bother him at all.
Kashi TLC Tasty Little Crackers. Heavenly taste you can feel good about, because they’re full of Seven Whole Grain goodness, and they contain zero grams of the trans fat you don’t want. TLC crackers are the lovable snack that loves you back. Roasted red and green bell peppers, tomatoes, carrots, and onions create the zesty Fire Roasted Veggie TLC crackers. The Toasted Asiago TLC crackers are made of mild asiago cheese with a hint of garlic.
We were able to try both of these crackers. I loved the fire roasted veggies crackers. The kids thought they were spicy, so that left more for me! I could eat them all alone or with some cheese. The toasted asiago crackers needed something with them…cheese or hummus was good. They make a great snack.
We are trying to eat healthier and exercise more, so Kashi is an excellent addition to our snack routines. The TLC line isn’t available in Canada BUT the products (Pita Crisps, Snack Crackers and Toasted Cinnamon Crisp Cereal) are, so you can still enjoy the great tasting snack foods.
