This weekend I had to take my oldest son, Eric, back to his college after having him at home for a week. It hasn’t got any easier to see him go! I needed to stop by a Walmart and pick up some Equal in the yellow canister, and he said he needed a few things for his dorm room, so we stopped at the Walmart Supercentre in Kitchener on our way to Toronto.
Eric had to pick up some shaving cream (I’m not sure why because he doesn’t ever look like he’s been too close to a razor), and he asked if I would get him a new bath mat, a dish rack and a new dish towel. I had no idea he had no dish rack in his dorm room, or I would have got him one a long time ago! We found all of those things and then went in search of #EqualCanada.
I know that Walmart keeps it in the pharmacy, so we found it quickly, although I didn’t notice it right away because they had the yellow canister up next to another brand of sweetener rather than with the other Equal products. Now I wonder if that is what happened when my husband looked for the Equal canister at Walmart.
After delivering Eric to his school, I returned home to make some Double Chocolate Fudge Brownies, with my helpers, Avery and Griffin. We gathered all of the ingredients, and they helped me do the mixing.
Don’t they look good? They taste as good as they look, and they are low calorie, yay!
Avery enjoyed serving her brownies to everyone in the house, and of course eating them herself. You can see all of the pictures from my shopping trip and our baking experience by visiting my Google+ Page.
Be sure to check out Equal on their website and social media pages.
