My baby brother was born when I was 11 and my sister was 13. We had no experience with babies, but we learned quickly and really enjoyed having our own live doll to play with. There were a lot of great things about having a baby in the house, and Arrowroot cookies were definitely one of those things. I loved them and if I was allowed, I’m sure I could have eaten the whole package myself. I learned that Arrowroot cookies not only tasted good, but they were great for babies because they dissolved quickly.
Now there are Gerber Arrowroot Biscuits that are made for babies around twelve months and older. They come in a fun new size and shape that is perfect for babies little hands. Like the original Arrowroot cookies, these are made to soften quickly so that they can be eaten with or without teeth, making them a safe choice for little ones.
Aside from being a tasty treat that is safe for baby, these cookies have added calcium and they are a good source of Vitamin E and Zinc. They are made with whole grains and have no artificial colours, flavours or sweeteners. It is these things that make them a great treat for everyone, not just babies. I packed a bag of them on our recent road trip to Florida, and they were the first thing we ran out of. The kids love them and I don’t have to feel guilty about them having a few cookies because they aren’t getting all of the artificial junk with them. Truth be told, I ate a few of them myself.
The Gerber Arrowroot Biscuits are a definite must have for families with babies in the house. They are the perfect first cookies for your little ones, and a great little lunch treat for the bigger kids too.
