My first job was in a movie theatre. I would say my love of movies started then, but it actually started long before that. Sunday night movies at home were a tradition and I will always remember my occasional trips to the drive-in with my Aunt Joanie. The job at the theatre enabled me to see all of the new movies that came out, fully instilling a true passion for the movies. This passion of mine has just grown over the years, which is why I am a SCENE member today.

Originally my SCENE card was the black membership card, but eventually I opened a Scotiabank account and started collecting SCENE points with my SCENE debit card. Using this card I collect points every time I use my card. Whether I am paying bills, buying groceries, filling the car with gas or treating myself to a manicure, I am always collecting SCENE points.
It is surprising just how fast the points add up. I see several free movies each year with the SCENE points I collect, and I collect even more points when I am at the movies. Plus, I earn more points every time I go to a Cineplex theatre.
A SCENE Visa card can help you earn points even faster. Every dollar you spend with your Scotia SCENE VISA is matched with 1 SCENE point. Additional opportunities for earning are also available for new SCENE VISA card holders. You can calculate how many SCENE points you would accumulate by using this handy points calculator: Scotiabank SCENE Calculator.
SCENE now offers members an additional option for earning and redeeming SCENE points. Members earn 1 point for every $5 spent at Sport Chek and they can redeem 1000 SCENE points for $10 off a Sport Chek purchase.
The SCENE program is free to join, and you can earn bonus points just by signing up. Scotiabank offers a SCENE debit card, a SCENE VISA card and a SCENE Prepaid VISA card, all of which will help you earn SCENE point quickly. You can get details here.
