These are all great reasons to shop online. As someone who has never enjoyed crowds, parking lots or long drives to the store because I live in a small town… online shopping is greatly appreciated. However, I would prefer not to use my credit card online. I have read too many stories about the security being breached in retail stores and it makes me nervous. Which is why I’m grateful for prepaid credit cards.
With open loop prepaid cards, I can shop anywhere that Visa, Mastercard or American Express is accepted. I don’t have to worry about identity theft or my card being stolen and used. There are no interest fees or overdraft costs. Open loop cards allow me to add funds to them, so that I can use them as a budgeting tool. Worried about being covered for purchases that turn out to be fraudulent? Prepaid cards offer the same protection as your other credit cards.
I received $300 in prepaid credit cards and I can’t wait to get shopping with them. I am focused on adding new and functional pieces to our home, and after scouring several stores online, I found some pieces that I’m excited to order.
Here are the pieces I will be ordering:
- My daughter’s jewelry collection is growing quickly and she needs someplace fun to keep her necklaces. The branch jewelry tree shown above will delight her.
- I have always wanted to display family photos in the form of a family tree, so I am definitely ordering this easy layout.
- One can never get enough cushions, and I love the messages that this cushion shares.
- My husband claims I’m taking over all of the counter space in our ensuite, so this bathroom storage is just what I need.
- Our welcome mat has been bring in guests for over a decade, so we are in need of a fun new greeting.
- Our wine will look much nicer in this rack than it does sitting on the kitchen counter.
- The laundry is never ending, and the plastic baskets just keep breaking. I think this canvas laundry bag is just what we need.
My purchases will come to around $275 from two different stores, both in Canada. However, if I wanted to order from somewhere else in the world, I could do some safe online shopping worldwide with my prepaid cards.
