Mattel is a well known name is my house. With four children, we have collected our fair share of Mattel toys, and we continue to buy them because they make good quality toys. Hot Wheels cars have been in my life for all of my 38 years! With two daughters, my Dad had teach us to love cars in order for him to be able to buy them, so we all had a great collection of hot wheels, including the original Dukes of Hazard set!
Some of my collection came with me when I moved out, and was passed on to Eric, who in turn has shared them with the other kids. Can you believe that my three year old can be found playing with some “dinky cars” that his Mom played with a this age!
Kellen has loved cars, trucks….basically anything with wheels…since he was a toddler. He also loves to build and create things, so these new Hot Wheels Cutom Motors cars are perfect for him. His letter to Santa included Custom Motors too, but Santa had other things in mind, so I was really happy to get a chance to review these!
Kellen was equally happy to get one, and he thought it was pretty cool that his car changes between a race
car and a monster truck car. This awesome orange 2010 Dodge Viper comes with more than 15 pieces that easily snap together and pull apart.Kel had changed the car into a fancy monster truck-like vehicle in a matter of minutes.
We decided to take a look online and see what other Custom Motors are available. We found a Humvee, a pickup truck and a really cool Custom Motors Auto Shop! However, Kellen’s favourite is definitely the Mustang. I will have to add that to his birthday list.
