After a great visit to the Columbus Zoo, we were excited for another great day seeing the sights. We started out our third day in Columbus with a trip to the North Market. The market has a huge variety of vendors who are making and selling fabulous finds. On our second day (first full day) in Columbus, we had plans to head to the Columbus Zoo and see a Clippers game. After an awesome breakfast at Bob Evans, we headed off to the Columbus Zoo, found a parking spot and made the trek through the gates. We rented a stroller for $12 (it was a double, singles were $8), which was perfect because it not only held up to two kids at a time, but it also held all of our drinks and backpacks, and it was easy to drive, so that was a bonus. My family (sans Eric, who decided at the last minute not to join us) made the long drive to Columbus, Ohio on this lovely long weekend! The kids were surprisingly well behaved for the trip, especially since we were on the road for eight hours! I have always wanted to take my children to Disney World. I wish that I had managed to get there while Eric was still little, but I'm grateful he has had some opportunities to travel through the school band and he will again soon with a choir he is a part of. I do hope that he will come with us if we do head to Disney World in the future.
