The Hair Flair Boutique is a great place to find hair products for both girls and women. They carry elastics, barrettes, hair bands, brushes and pretty well anything for all hair types. Here are some products that I have tried.
Scunci Tortoise No Slip Barrette
Large 3.5 inch barrette features a new, no slip design with three rows of tiny teeth to grip hair while not damaging it. All plastic design also makes it lighter and more comfortable to wear than metal barrettes. Comes in brown, tortoise finish.
I have really fine hair, and as a result it is hard to find barrettes that don’t slide out. This barrette is perfect for hair like mine because it is made to grip the hair and not slip. It is an attractive barrette too. I am comfortable wearing it to work or just around the house.
Scunci Girl No Slip Pastel Elastics
New no-slip technology helps make these elastics stay put all day long. Package includes sixteen pastel colored bands, each measuring 2.5 inches long. Bands are accented with metallic silver threads for even more flair.
I have bought Scunci Girl no slip elastics before, and I doubt I would ever buy another brand of elastic for my daughter again. Scunci Girl makes fun elastics in great “girly” colours, and the no slip grip is just what we need for Avery’s super fine hair. These particular elastics are such nice pastel colours that I may have used a couple myself.
Scunci Girl Sparkle Gel Elastics
Scunci’s new gel material makes their evolution elastics softer and more comfortable to wear than traditional elastic bands. This package includes 14 pieces in assorted colors, each with sparkly glitter built right in.
These gel elastics come in great colours and have a sparkle through them. Avery was convinced they were actually bracelets rather than hair elastics, so I allowed her to use them for both purposes. As hair elastics, they don’t slip, and as bracelets they are right in fashion and really cute!
Scunci Girl Metal Free Snap Clips
No metal snap clips are made of a new material that’s strong, yet flexible. Guaranteed to hold tight but not damage your hair. Clips measure 1.75 inches and come in a pack of four.
Avery doesn’t like barrettes because they either slide out of her hair or they are really hard to get out of her hair. I thought these might be a good choice because they say they are “no damage” which implies they won’t get stuck in her hair, and they are guaranteed not to slip. We found them a little challenging to get in her hair, but once in there, they don’t slip and they are really cute. They are easy to get out of her hair, without any pulling or tangling.
Scunci No Slip Head Wraps Pink
Scunci’s no slip grip head wraps feature a special coating to help them stay put. Pack includes four bands measuring approximately 9 inches in length and come in an assortment of pink, purple, black and white colors.
Again, I love these because they are no slip. They are the only hair band I have ever found that stays in my hair, and they stay in Avery’s hair too! I love them for going to the gym because they hold back those stray hairs that fall out of the ponytail while exercising, and they are so easy to put on and off. They come in lots of great colours too!
