One of my favourite things about Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners has always been having stuffing with our meal. Over the years, I have started incorporating stuffing into more of our every day meals, and I’ve even got a little fancy and made my own stuffed pork roll! I just love stuffing, and it is something that everyone in my family seems to enjoy.

I love the new Stove Top canisters because you can use some of it and put the rest away in the cupboard to make later. The other day I had leftover pork tenderloin and I wanted to make a nice supper, using my leftovers, without everyone complaining that they were having leftovers. I remembered my canister of Stove Top (it’s for chicken, but I don’t care, it tastes good with anything) and decided that with some mashed potatoes would liven up my leftover pork. Everyone ate their supper and my husband even thanked me for making such a nice supper! It’s amazing what some stuffing can do for a meal!
The new Stove Top stuffing canisters come in 8 or 12 oz chicken and 12 oz Home Style Herb. You can get several more flavours and varieties in the regular Stove Top boxes.
The Kraft website offers recipes and menu ideas to liven up your leftovers or create delicious meals for your family. I am looking forward to making the Chicken Pot Pie recipe I found, and the Turkey and Broccoli Casserole also looks good. I’m not sure my kids would eat the casserole with broccoli in it, but I definitely would!
The Kraft website also gives some great ideas and instructions for adding extras to your stove top stuffing. There are fruit, vegetables, meat products and nuts suggested. There are definitely some things I have never thought of adding, and it could be fun to try some new things.
