Kinder Eggs have played a special role in several of our family traditions over the years. The Easter Bunny has always left at least one Kinder Surprise in each of the kids’ Easter baskets, Santa has done the same in the Christmas stockings, and when we take the kids to the movies, the Kinder Egg in the kids combo is definitely the highlight for the kids! Most recently, I took Griffin to see Cars 2 and he not only had a Kinder® Surprise®, but the toy inside was a mini Cars replica. He was so excited! That is the really fun thing about Kinder…you never know what will be inside!
Our love for Kinder makes me really proud to be named one of the new Ambassadors for Kinder Canada through Mom Central Canada. That’s right, I’m a Kinder Mom! I am going to have some happy kids in this house! And since Mom and Dad love Kinder Eggs too, I guess we will all be happy! I mean, why wouldn’t anyone love Kinder…you get chocolate and a toy all in one!

One of the times that we often enjoy a Kinder Egg is after a walk or ride to the corner store. When the kids are in need of something to do away from the house, and I’m home alone with them, we will sometimes take a walk or a bike ride down to the variety store on the corner. The walk there is usually fine, but walking back home isn’t usually as much fun. They don’t want to walk anymore and they have nothing to look forward to when they get home. We fixed that by letting them each buy a Kinder Egg from the store. They can eat the chocolate on the walk home, and build the toy once we get there…so everyone is anxious to get home and build their toys…it’s a win-win! And it will be even more fun now that there are new toys coming out!
