Being comfortable in your own shoes never felt like this before.
I asked my Mother to review a pair of Alegria shoes for me, since I have already had the chance to test a pair and I knew they would be perfect for her at work.
HER THOUGHTS
I was told I should choose a pair of shoes from Alegria to review. They have a huge variety of styles and colors but I had to eliminate the clog styles because I need to have closed toe and heel for work. Instead, I chose a colorful pair called Dayna, thinking that the colors are suitable for all the colors of uniforms that I wear.
These shoes have a mild “rocker” sole. I have worn a rocker running shoe before that has felt a bit unstable to walk in but these are very stable. The rock is just enough to get the “exercise” effect but you don’t hardly notice it as you walk during the day. The inside of the shoe is leather and the insole is thick and comfortable. It is meant to conform to your foot as you wear it. I am a big fan of the wide toe area as my toes like room to breath. The back of the heel is an area that new shoes usually affect but not so with these. They have a padded area that is very comfortable right from the start. the only area that bothered me at all was where the strap meets the side of the shoe. I adjusted to that after a couple of shifts at work.
These shoes have attracted a lot of attention at work. Other staff, residents and family have commented on them and several want more information about them. I chose these to use as my work shoes, but these shoes would be great for casual wear a well and when I no longer work I won’t be tossing them to the back of the closet. I highly recommend these shoes for their style as well as their comfort.
You can have a chance to win your own pair of Alegria Shoes!
