My Mom has always made some pretty cool jack-o-lanterns, and the tradition has continued in my house, although not by me, lol. My husband enjoys carving creative pumpkins with the kids. I was looking for some ideas for this year’s pumpkins, and found some pretty unique jack-o-lantern ideas.
There is a website called PumpkinGutter.com that has some of the most incredible pumpkin carvings I have ever seen. Here are a couple of his creations, but be sure to take a look at his site. You will be amazed!

Tow Mater is definitely my favourite, lol. If you like Star Wars or scary jack-o-lanterns, his site has lots of those! He is truly an artist. Too bad we couldn’t buy his carvings, I would love to have a jack-o-lantern like this on my porch this Halloween.
Martha Stewart also has some interesting pumpkin carving ideas, and she provides instructions on how to do it too.

Here are some more interesting carvings and creations I found online. I think I need to raise the bar and do more than our usual stencil carvings!
I really like this one, but I wouldn’t want to carve that many pumpkins. It would be great for a large reception though.

I have a couple of boys who think this one is amazing. It is pretty cool. Can you imagine carving all of that?

This is artistry. The pumpkin itself isn’t my favourite design, but it would certainly take a lot of work and creativity to make it.

This one made me laugh. Someone was really thinking! I love how they even used the seeds to top it off. People must really like hamburgers. First I found a hamburger bed, and now the pumpkin.

And another “foodie” pumpkin…
