Picture this: You’re at your favourite family restaurant, about to take your first bit out of that delicious entree when Baby starts to fuss. You cast a nervous glance to the neighbouring tables, but there’s not an empathetic smile among them. While you and Baby do the pace-and-shush, you wonder if there’s a place you can bring Baby, but enjoy adult fun, with like-minded moms who get it.

I love this idea! What stay at home mommy wouldn’t appreciate the chance to get out to a movie without having to find a babysitter? And the afternoon is the perfect time because it’s nap time! And there is a great line up of movies too. I did find that the movies are not appropriate for my three year old, but that is the whole point…that Mom gets to see a movie that she will enjoy, and Moms get tired of cartoons! The movie choices would work best with a child who is young enough not to pay attention to the movie, and let’s face it…a three year old isn’t going to let you watch the movie anyway.
I like that Reel Babies is less expensive than the average movie too! I’m hoping to see the newest Twilight movie at Reel Babies next week! Take a look at the Empire Theatre website to see what movies will be playing at Reel Babies.
