Riding in Style in a Chevy Malibu

Our week in Florida was made comfortable and easy to get around because we were driving a 2012 Chevy Malibu.

This car was really nice to drive. It had leather seats and fit five of us comfortably. We even fit luggage for five people in the trunk without too much effort, so it’s the perfect size for a family. The sunroof was great for the beautiful Florida weather, as was the air conditioning. I like that we could set the actual temperature we wanted it to be inside, rather than just turn on the air.

I also like that all three back seats had shoulder belts. It made me feel like the kids were properly fastened in and comfortable. Griffin was in a booster seat and there was still enough room for everyone.

The Malibu had all of the perks like heated seats if we needed them, cruise control, power windows and locks, power seat adjust and one of my favourite perks….OnStar. We didn’t need OnStar during our week in the Malibu, but I appreciate that it was there if we did need it. From the first time I experienced OnStar (in my father-in-law’s car several years ago) I have wanted a vehicle with this service.

The radio and temperature was easily controlled with large easy to find buttons. There were also controls on the radio that made things easy for the driver to control. One of the best things about the Malibu was the fuel economy. We did a lot of driving in Florida. We spent approximately an hour or more on the highways every day, and we only had to fill the tank once during the week. That is amazing for the amount of driving we did! My old van would have cost us a fortune in gas for that much driving. Overall, it is a comfortable and classy car that we were privileged to drive for the week. It was sad to give it back at the end of the week!
