You may have read my post where I set a goal to run a marathon before I’m 40 … in 10 months. This isn’t a far fetched goal…I used to run a lot and until I reached my thirties, I was always in good shape. But that all changed when I had my last three children, and mostly in the last year. I am not in good shape and running is hard, but I’m doing it anyway. Every night I force myself out the door and put one foot in front of the other, rotating back and forth between walking and running. I have to constantly remind myself that I need to keep going. I visualize my thin self and see myself running the marathon and basically talk myself into moving every night.
Last night I didn’t want to go, and I said as much to my husband, thinking he would suggest I stay home and help get the kids to bed, but instead he said exactly the right thing “You should go so you don’t have to listen to the crying about having to go to bed.” He had a good point, and I pulled on my running shoes and went on my way. He’s a smart man! Today I found more motivation on Pinterest, and just had to share it with you.

Check in on Sunday to see exactly what exercise I did, what food I ate, and how I tracked it all through the week!
