I am currently enjoying the good life at The Westin Los Angeles Airport. This is a beautiful hotel near LAX, that boasts well kept rooms with very comfortable beds and a few of the airport (not a bonus for everyone, but it certainly made Kellen happy). The shuttle from LAX to The Westin (and vice versa) comes every twenty minutes. The hotel has an outdoor pool and hot tub on the third floor, and a main floor restaurant called The Daily Grill that you can eat in or order room service from.
The hotel staff have been extremely pleasant and helpful whenever I have asked for assistance, and the food in the restaurant is delicious. If you are looking for souvenirs, the hotel has a shop that includes everything from toiletries to personalized Golden Globe awards. Within walking distance you will find Subway, Taco Bell, McDonalds, Denny’s and a couple of gas stations with variety stores.
