My family loves the movies. We watch at least one movie almost every day, and we head to the theatres as often as we can. The kids love to make the living room a theatre by shutting all of the blinds and turning off the lights. I then have to make popcorn and we all enjoy a movie together. Disney Junior is making this a weekend tradition with Saturday Night Movies.
Every Saturday night this summer at 6pm ET there will be great movies to watch. This Saturday it is the premiere of the brand new Winnie the Pooh movie! This will be one that Griffin loves! He’s a big fan of Winnie the Pooh, like most of our family members.

We don’t have to wait for Saturday nights to enjoy some Disney Junior programming though. Weekdays in July and August you can watch Jake and the Never Land Pirates followed by Sofia the First by tuning in at 6:30 PM ET. I love this because it’s something my son likes followed by something my daughter likes…it’s a win/win! Griffin saw a live Jake performance at Disney World (shown above) and he has a whole Jake and the Never Land Pirates treasure chest that includes a foam sword and hook hand, so he can act out the show while he watches. Avery just really enjoys watching Sofia the First, preferably without any noisy brothers in the room!

You can stay in the world of pirates and princesses by visiting DisneyJunior.ca for a treasure of new summer games and activities! And the Winnie the Pooh fans can find some fun Winnie the Pooh activities that are great for play dates and birthday parties by visiting here: www.disneyjunior.ca/en/winnie-the-pooh.
So get your eye patches and tiaras out, pop some popcorn and get ready for a Disney Junior summer!
