I enjoy a sweet treat, and weekends are the time for baking in our house. I haven’t had cheesecake in ages and I have a craving so I decided to make a raspberry cheesecake to showcase for #CollectiveBias.
Yesterday I took inventory of the fridge and cupboards for some key ingredients. I have many varieties of flour in my house, but I go through All Purpose Flour at an alarming rate and needed to pick some up. I found two nearly empty jars of Smucker’s in the fridge, so I added that to my shopping list and headed off to the Independent Grocer.
I found the Smucker’s in the Spreads, Jams & Jellies aisle. The small jars were on sale, but it is still a better deal to buy the larger jar and we go through a lot of it.
I found the Robin Hood flour in the baking aisle. I love the new resealable plastic bags of flour. I don’t know why no one thought of that before! I picked up a bag of All Purpose flour and turned to the other side of the aisle where they have the coffee and tea.
Right across from the flour is the coffee and tea. I am very picky about my coffee. I drink Folgers, and only Folgers. I also drink a lot of it so I buy it in huge containers and I had a large container of Classic Roast at home but I wanted something a little different, so I picked up a small container of French Vanilla coffee to have with my cheesecake squares.

The steps in photos for the visual people…….

I cut myself a piece of cheesecake and poured a cup of Folgers coffee, and I’m ready for a break.
