Werther’s is my sweet treat with no guilt attached

Working from home has had a lot of great benefits but it has not been good for my waistline. It’s too easy to grab snacks through the day, and I find I don’t get nearly enough physical activity since I started working from home. I can’t just let things continue this way, so I’m making subtle changes to live a healthier lifestyle.

Daily exercise is a definite must and I am scheduling it into my routine, but my diet needs a real overhaul. One of the things I’m doing is limiting my sugar intake. I started taking my tea black, and using stevia in my coffee, but I still have a sweet tooth and crave a sweet treat. Werther’s Original candies with no sugar added are just what I need.

These Werther’s candies come in five flavours: Original, Caramel Mint, Caramel Chocolate, Caramel Coffee and Caramel Apple. Whether I’m craving chocolate, mint or another sweet flavour, these sugar free candies can fit the bill. I’ve tried them all (more than once) and my favourite is the Caramel Chocolate with the Caramel Mint being a close second. My husband likes the Caramel Coffee the best and the kids love Caramel Apple. We all love the flavour of the original Werther’s candies. I’ve been throwing a few of them in my purse so that I can satisfy a craving wherever I am.

Sweet cravings are usually my downfall when I’m attempting to eat healthier, so Werther’s Original No Sugar Added are really helping me with this. In addition to reducing sugar, I’m eating more fruits and vegetables and making sure I drink more water through the day.
